Thaliyah Cools-Lartigue

Thaliyah Cools-Lartigue is a professional dancer and choreographer from Dayton, OH. She holds a BFA in Dance from the Ohio State University and extensive training in Contemporary/Modern, Hip Hop, Ballet, African, and Jazz. Thaliyah has also had the pleasure of training with Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre, KAOS Hip Hop Workshop, Kyle Abraham’s A.I.M., and Tia Rivera’s BTB Bootcamp. Thaliyah was a former Jeraldyne Blunden Fellow with Dayton Contemporary Dance Company (DCDC) (2022-2024) and a Dayton Dance Initiative Company member (2023-2024). During her time with DCDC, she had the pleasure of performing works by Paul Taylor, Rennie Harris, Talley Beatty and many other dance pioneers. Thaliyah currently resides in Los Angeles, CA and has performed at the commercial level with FIFA World Cup, Disney and others. She was named a recipient of the Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award for choreography in 2024 and has choreographed works on numerous national competing dance studios and pre professional companies. She is currently a professional dance artist under Movement Talent Agency and continues to perform, audition and train at the professional level.
