Stephanie Fica
Stephanie Fica is an accomplished Choreographer, Master Instructor, and Program Director from the Metro-Detroit area. Over the last two decades she’s immersed herself as a professional in the dance industry, including over 5 years of traveling the country coast-to-coast as a master instructor on the Convention Circuit, and 8 years of judging for national dance competition tours. Stephanie trained in all classical styles of dance with a concentration in the Vaganova Ballet method, then went on to graduate from Michigan State University, and has since devoted her time to training competitive dancers and choreography. She currently works with the Wayne State University Dance Team, providing technical and performance training to competitive collegiate dancers. Stephanie studied acting/theater at the collegiate level, and has served as the choreographer for musical theater programs, plays, and musicals. Stephanie is honored to continue traveling the country as a guest choreographer and teacher in many genres of dance. Her students and choreography continue to be commended for technical excellence, precision, and performance quality, while being consistently crowned National and Regional Title Winners, National Grand Champion Winners, and finalists at the Industry Dance Awards in Hollywood for multiple years. Her students have belonged to some of the most prestigious university dance teams and programs in the nation, worked on Broadway, and gone on to become international performers, dancers and captains of professional dance teams in the NBA and the NFL, and featured dancers in nationally televised programs, including “Dance Moms”. Along with teaching at studios, judging, and teaching for conventions, Stephanie works with the Southeastern Michigan Classical Ballet, adjudicates, choreographs, and trains university and high school pompon/dance teams, and is the founder of an Assistant Teacher Training Program for aspiring dance instructors. Recently, she was a featured artist on the song "Celebration Ritual" as a tap dancer for Blair French's album, "The Art of Us".
