Cloe Thelemann
Cloe Thelemann is a Minneapolis, Minnesota native who began her dance training at the age of three and spent her formative years training and competing extensively. She trained extensively under the direction of Dawn Schulberg, Cassie Norgren, and Callie Solis, developing a strong technical foundation across a wide range of styles including Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Ballet, and Tap.
As a choreographer, Cloe has created award-winning competitive pieces recognized at both regional and national levels, and continues to set work for studios across the country. Her work emphasizes musicality, performance quality, and intentional storytelling. Cloe holds certifications from the Youth Protection Association for Dance (YPAD), Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), and the McGovern Method. With a background in personal training, she incorporates dancer-specific cross-training into her work, helping students build strength, improve endurance, and support long-term injury prevention.
With over 15 years of teaching and choreographing experience, Cloe brings a well-rounded and current industry perspective to the judging panel, shaped by her experience as both a competitive dancer and dedicated educator. She is passionate about developing confident, versatile dancers and values authenticity, individuality, and strong work ethic in every performance!
