about
Aydin Boone-Long
Aydin Boone-Long is a professional dancer and choreographer from Pittsburgh, PA, currently based in Los Angeles, CA, where he works as a commercial dancer. He attended Westinghouse Arts Academy, a performing arts high school, where he trained in a variety of styles and disciplines and developed skills in teaching and choreography. Aydin began dancing at five years old in an all-boys acrobatics class, which sparked his love for the art. While he is trained in ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop, and tap, he is particularly recognized for his high-energy jazz and contemporary. Aydin started choreographing at age 15 and has since collaborated with numerous dance studios and high school dance teams across the country, all while maintaining his professional dance career. He has received multiple choreography & dance awards, including Choreographer of the Year for ID Dance in 2022. Aydin was selected as one of the Top 100 dancers to audition for Season 18 of So You Think You Can Dance, and he has been grateful to work with several professional choreographers and dancers such as Derek Hough, Tessandra Chaves and Rudy Abreu. He remains passionate about dance and is always looking forward to new opportunities for growth.
