Caitlin Quinn

My name is Caitlin Quinn. I’m 29 years old and am from Miami, Florida. I’ve grown up around dance my entire life. At the young age of 3, my parents enrolled me in ballet classes at Ballet Etudes. It was there that my foundation and love for dance would begin. I solely trained in Ballet with them. I participated in annual recitals and nutcracker performances on a yearly basis. It wasn’t though until the age of 10 that my interests would begin to shift. I wanted more, and was looking to expand my knowledge of dance. And this was when I found my home. In 2008 Miami Dancity Studios, under the director of Yvonne Alvarez, would open its doors and I would forever be home. It was here that my passion for dance, choreographing, and teaching would flourish. As a competitive team member, I was trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary/lyrical, hip hop, modern and ballroom. I was over the moon. I graduated in 2014 and was brought on staff to begin teaching and assisting in choreography all while attending Florida International University. From then until now, I have choreographed numerous award winning routines, have been nationally recognized for my pieces and choreography, and helped fuel the same love for dance in young dancers that I still have today.
