Sarah Pohlman

Sarah Pohlman has dedicated more than 25 years to dance. From the Cleveland area, Sarah grew up training at a studio on a competitive dance team. She and her team competed across the country, earning numerous solo and group national high scores and titles. Sarah has a lengthy and diverse background in multiple genres including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, ballet, acrobatics, tap, and hip hop. She attended numerous classes, workshops and camps while living in New York City after high school. Sarah brought that training back to the studio, where she taught and coached for her alma mater competitive dance team for over ten years. Sarah went on to dance professionally for the AFL, where she represented Cleveland at the Arena Bowl, and for the NBA on the Cleveland Cavalier Girl Dance Team. During her time with the Cavs, she made many national TV appearances, and performed with nationally recognized recording artists and choreographers. Sarah has worked with middle school, high school, college, and professional dance teams. Her experience ranges from conducting auditions to consulting and cleaning team’s routines before nationals. Her main objectives in class are to establish strong fundamentals in each dancer and encourage a positive movement environment. An internationally certified adjudicator with various brands since 2015, Sarah has had the honor of judging The Dance Summit, JAMfest Japan, The USASF Dance Worlds, and every Dance MAJORS since its inception. She hopes to continue judging and inspiring dancers for years to come.
