Rachel Green

I are up Dancing at NHPA where I received excellent dance training from instructors from "Dance Today Top Ten Dancers To Watch" Amy Cain and Dawn Dipple. Further dance instruction was received from High School For the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA) and the Houston MET's Marlana Walsh and Amy Duncan with Kingwood Jazz Co. I attribute my success from studying with such teachers as Mandy Moore, Tammy Dyke, and Peter Chu and Wes Veldink.

I competed both regionally and nationally and revieved top honors in competitions and conventions. I even made it Several rounds in Vegas in the finals for SYTYCD. I performed professional with The Houston MET, J&D Entertainment and Round Rock Entertainment as well as Physphonia Dance Company. Soon tho I realized I loved teaching dance to children and embarked on owning my own studio for five years.

I have spent the last 9 years working as a teacher and a director at Stacey's Dance Studio in Kingwood, Texas. Ive led Stacey's to numerous national titles at Hall Of fame, Starquest, Masquerade, and Star Power and at conventions such as LADM. Ive won numerous choreography and costume awards along the way as well.

Im am currently looking forward to my new time with Republic Edge with the hopes to inspire more dancers around the Houston area. I look forward to the journey and I hope I can instil the love for dance into children Hearst as my dance teachers did to me.
