Delaney Arenz

Delaney Arenz is originally from Southern California and an alumni of Middle Tennessee State University receiving her B.S. of Dance Performance and Choreography. Delaney is now currently an instructor within the Chattanooga, TN area teaching young dancers ballet. She has trained in several different styles of dance, the most recent styles being ballet and modern. She trained in the MTSU Dance Theatre pre-professional company, which allows for at least two performances a year. During high school Delaney attended multiple different dance conventions/competitions with chances to work with world-renowned choreographers. A few choreographers include Derrick Schrader, Chris Jacobsen, Bonnie Story, and Meghan Sanett. During her time with Thrive Dance Center’s company she was awarded ‘Honor Dancer Nominee’ at Adrenaline Dance Convention in 2019. In Delaney’s dancing career she received Elite Gold at Starbound National Talent Competition in 2020 for her contemporary solo entitled ‘Rivers and Roads’. At Thrive Dance Center, Delaney trained in the following genres of dance; ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, musical theater, and heels. She competed with them from ages 16-18 and has been in dance training for fourteen years.
