about

Amanda Dray

Mandy Dray grew up dancing in Kansas City, Missouri as a student of competitive dance in all styles. In 2014 she graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance and a minor in Psychology from Chapman University in Orange, California. After Chapman, Mandy was signed with Go 2 Talent Agency, and has gone on to dance professionally in many jobs, some which include working with Debbie Allen in the L.A. Tap Festival gala show, 7/11’s annual corporate celebration and 3.5 years in Las Vegas’s show Zombie Burlesque where she had the opportunity to be featured on AMC’s show Ride with Norman Reedus. Currently, Mandy has had the opportunity to travel the world while performing in Holland America Line and RWS Entertainment Group’s technical dance company called Step One Dance Company where she has held the title of Dance Captain for multiple contracts. During her time with Step One, she has had the opportunity to workshop new shows with the lead choreographer of the company, Melanie Lewis-Yribar and artistic director John Charron and teach the show choreography in a collegiate workshop at her own alma mater, Chapman University. Working closely with Melanie has been a highlight for Mandy and has led her to assist with choreography on a recent project for LA’s American rock cabaret Cherry Boom Boom. Along with performing, Mandy teaches and choreographs in Los Angeles, California as well as teaches master classes and choreography across the states. Mandy loves to share her technical and artistic knowledge and the importance of being a well rounded, versatile dancer with upcoming generations of young dancers.
