Carone Tharpe

Currently choreographing and teaching dance at studios in the greater Nashville area and Kentucky, Carone Tharpe has developed his skill for two decades. Trained and experienced in hip-hop, ballet, jazz, contemporary and modern dance, Carone most recently starred in a production of The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. As an award-winning choreographer, Carone, known as Coach Hollywood to his students, has danced and choreographed professionally for 15 years.
In his downtime, Carone has developed an interest in CrossFit, which he has been doing for over five years, and enjoys training and competing across his home state of Tennessee. Carone’s love of dance and community has led him to volunteer for youth dance workshops as well as non-profit organizations. Carone hopes to teach and inspire his students, those of all experience levels, to enjoy themselves and have fun through dance, create a community through dance, and forge opportunities. Carone credits his teachers, Francisco and Angela Ramos,
who trained and inspired him to dance, instilling these principles in him and fostering his passion for dance. Carone aspires to cultivate this passion in all the dancers he teaches and works with.
