about
Erin Lamoyne
Erin LaMoyne comes to us from California where she works in the San Francisco Bay Area. She grew up in Fremont, California and began her training at the age of 3 in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop and Contemporary. She moved to Los Angeles and received a Bachelor’s degree from UCLA and a Master’s Degree from California State University at Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, Erin continued to refine her dance training and was a member of the UCLA Competition Dance Team. Currently, she resides in Northern California where she works as the Co-Owner and Director of Yoko’s Dance and Performing Arts Academy in Fremont, California, one of Dance Spirit and Dance Teacher Magazine’s Top 50 Studios in the nation. She has worked as a choreographer for over 20 years, and her pieces have been recognized on both the regional and national levels. Her students have taken top honors at competitions around the country, work in feature films, television and modeling, and have been selected as cheerleaders for the San Diego Chargers, Los Angeles Clippers, Oakland Raiders, and Los Angeles Lakers. She loves being part of the Kids Artistic Revue judge's team where she has the opportunity to inspire and motivate dancers nationwide. Erin believes that every performance on stage is an opportunity to build confidence and self-esteem, further each dancer’s passion in the art, and communicate a love for dance with the audience. She is thrilled to share this performance opportunity with all of the dancers on the Kids Artistic Revue stage!
