Malea Boggess

Malea has been dancing since the age of two, and is now a teacher and choreographer for multiple competitive studios across the nation. Malea trained and danced competitively in jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap, and hip hop where she has placed in top overalls at some of the country’s biggest dance competitions, including KAR. By her 8th grade year she booked a tour alongside dancers from America’s Best Dance Crew. Malea was a member of the Rocklin High School dance team throughout her high school years, and was a student director in the dance program both her junior and senior years on top of dancing competitively on her studio’s elite team. Malea then attended Sacramento State where she was a part of the Hornet Girlz Dance Team for one season under the direction of Jolie Roberts. After being on her university's dance team, Malea was on Prophecy with Chapkis Dance Family under the direction of Greg Chapkis and a part of Kreativ Mndz LA under the direction of both Kolanie Marks and Antione Troupe. Malea’s dedication has resulted in her receiving scholarships from Stephen “Twitch” Boss from SYTYCD and well known tapper Gregg Russell, along with choreography awards. Malea has had the opportunities to work with icons such as Krista Miller, Nicole Kirkland, Janelle Ginestra, Mia Michaels, Aliya Janell, Matt Steffanina, D-Trix, and many more! Malea currently spends her time assistant coaching Whitney dance team, judging across the country, choreographing, and guest teaching.
