Shelley Kreisler

Shelley is a native of Kansas City, Mo and is a dancer, choreographer, actress and model. She has studied various styles of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, modern, musical Theater, tumbling and hip-hop for over 25 years. She was a member of the Missouri Modern Dance Company co-founded by the renowned David Parsons for 5 years. She has worked alongside Paula Abdul, Ted Danson, Olsen Twins, Joe Tremaine and Frank Hatchett. Her performance include productions of West Side Story, The One and Only, Cabaret, Oklahoma, the Rose Bowl, Orange Bowl and was an NFL Cheerleader for 5 seasons. She has continued to work with the Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders, choreographing and judging routines for their auditions. She has choreographed a music video for Peter Frampton, national commercials for Payless Shoes, Intrust Bank, and Price Chopper along with 2 halftime shows for NFL football teams. Her credits also include numerous award winning regional, national and Grand Champion routines. She has earned several regional and national choreography awards including best choreographer in the Elite category at KAR nationals. Her student’s credits include Disney Cruise lines, NFL Cheerleaders. Missouri University Golden Girls, Northwest State Bearcats, Dance Company: Dancers 7 in Denver, and many that have gone on to professional acting careers. Shelley has appeared in two feature films, My One and Only and Hope. She has also appeared in over 30 local and national commercials and print ads including Hallmark, Sprint, Payless, Intrust Bank, Price Chopper and Mr. Goodcents. Shelley is very excited to be with the KAR judging staff and wishes all the contestants good luck and remember, “Dance from you heart and you will never be wrong”
