Derek Troy, an award-winning Hip Hop dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher with over 10 years of competitive dance experience. He has a remarkable track record in the dance world, having achieved numerous accolades, including being the winner of the IDA for best Hip Hop Routine 2020/2021 for his captivating performance in "The Black Parade."

Derek's talent and passion for dance have taken him far and wide, including being a Hip Hop International Champion in 2014 and World of Dance Bay Area Champion in the same year. He has also performed at Levi Stadium with Snoop Dogg and choreographed halftime performances for the Sacramento Kings in the past.

As a sought-after teacher and choreographer, Derek has shared his expertise and love for dance by teaching master classes across the United States and internationally, including in Ukraine and Italy. Many of his students have achieved 1st overall placements under his guidance, and he has been associated with MTA Talent Agency from 2014 to 2016.

Derek's impressive career also includes choreographing the Halftime Performance for the 49ers in 2019. He trained in the fundamentals of Hip Hop from the Jabbawockeez cast members, honing his skills and style to become one of the most dynamic and sought-after dancers and judges in the industry.
