I have been judging for KAR for the past 30+ years along with other competitions, and teaching workshops. I have trained extensively in ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Modern (Simonson, Horton, Hawkins) for over 45 years and have taught for the same. Professionally trained in the Cecchetti Method Certified Teacher/Student Levels & Russian and French Ballet Syllabus'; Jazz - trained with Gus Giordano (and staff), Luigi, Matt Maddox, Ann Reinking; Tap - Charles Kelly, Charles Goddertz, Jay Fagin, Lane Alexander, Sarah Savelli, Ayodelle Casel; Successfully completed Dance Educators (Western Kentucky University) & Dance Masters Teacher Training courses (Kent State University); continuing Dance Education at Western Kentucky University, Kent State; Broadway Tours; NYC Opera Company (Merry Widow); TV and Modeling. Member of Dance Educators of America (former Board of Directors), National Dance Association, AAPHERD, National Honor Society of Dance Arts, National Dance Educators Association; BA in Communications/Performance from Michigan State University; Owned a successful Dance Studio (32 years) with many National Championships and dancers who have gone on to perform professionally – Broadway, London Theater, Ballet companies, Modern Companies, etc. and attend prestigious university as dance majors with scholarships.
